Consulting firm Partners in Performance has announced two ANZ Director elections, expanding the global leadership team.
Ben Thompson (pictured), who joined the firm in 2019 as an Associate Principal, brings over two decades of consulting experience to the role. Ben specialises in private equity, healthcare, universities, and manufacturing and has a proven track record of solving intricate business challenges.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Ben is 1st Vice President (deputy chair) of the World Bridge Federation and, as a player, holds the title of World International Master.
Jane Algie, a senior associate who joined Partners in Performance in 2017, is known for her passion for driving impactful outcomes across diverse industries. Jane has spearheaded various initiatives within the ANZ region, notably in women’s networks, diversity and inclusion, and talent development programs. Jane is recognised for her unwavering commitment to ethical leadership and organisational excellence.
Commenting on the appointments, Ms Skipp Williamson, Managing Director at Partners in Performance, emphasised the significance of achieving Director status within the firm. She highlighted the multifaceted criteria, including delivering lasting impact for our clients in a way that builds capabilities and ownership.

Both appointments take effect immediately
In addition to the Director appointments, Partners in Performance has promoted Matthew O’Connor to Partner. With over a decade of experience in management consulting and structural engineering/construction management across various sectors, Matthew brings a wealth of expertise to his new role. Before joining PiP, Matthew held positions at Parsons Brinckerhoff (now WSP), focusing on projects within the transport and power sectors.
