Fleurs de Villes, the world-renowned floral show behind blockbuster exhibitions across Canada, the US, Australia, and the UK, will return to The Calyx at Royal Botanic Garden Sydney for its popular exhibition Fleurs de Villes VOYAGE, which will feature florist fashion displays of iconic places around the world.
Spanning over ten days, this spectacular travel-themed showcase will feature 15 one-of-a-kind floral mannequins, all created by Sydney’s talented floral designers. Taking inspiration from travel destinations, each florist will create a unique work of art, presenting an unmissable cultural storytelling experience, connecting the world through flowers like never before.
Visitors exploring the floral extravaganza will be taken on a journey of discovery featuring mannequins inspired by Morocco’s enchanting souks, the serene gardens and temples of Kyoto, Japan, the thrilling landscapes of a South African safari, the iconic Moulin Rouge in Paris, France, and more!
Rain or shine, visitors can enjoy the stunning floral artistry at The Calyx, which offers an immersive green space with an indoor glasshouse, an outdoor terrace, and one of the largest green walls in the southern hemisphere.
The floral celebration is designed by some of Sydney’s favourite florists including Abigail Grace Floral Design, Art of Bloom, Belfield Blooms, Hayfever Flowers, Hananingen Sydney, Kris McKee Floral Design, Lana Lichman, LS Flower Design, Max & Co Floral Design, Moonflower Artistry, Petal and Peach Floral Design, Petals and Leaves, Rose Moon Flowers and Violette and Ivy.
Outside of The Calyx, visitors can discover another VOYAGE-inspired silk floral mannequin presented by Florabelle Living, on display at Queen Elizabeth II gate near the Sydney Opera House forecourt. In addition to enjoying Fleurs de Villes’ famous floral mannequins, visitors can watch free botanical talks and demonstrations by expert florists and horticulturists and indulge in delectable treats from the Leaf Dept. Cafe amidst the floral splendour, and cast their vote for their favourite floral mannequin.
