According to an international study, half of us think they do.
International researchers surveyed pet owners across several European countries and found that 58.4% believed their pets should have access to the same treatment options as ours.
Additionally, they say that just over half of the surveyed pet parents thought our kits and doggos should get access to the same diagnostic tests as humans.
Unsurprisingly, those people shown to be more attached to their pets on the survey were likelier to desire advanced care options.
