Frenchies Jamboree at The Cannery Rosebery

Sydneysiders can celebrate the last Saturday night of Sydney Beer Week at The Cannery Rosebery, where award-winning Frenchies Bistro and Brewery will host a precinct-wide Jamboree.

With 12 pop-up bars, six gourmet eateries, live music from Slepka Promo, yoga sessions, and a dedicated children’s section, there is truly something for everyone.

Beer lovers can enjoy a variety of unique brews at Frenchies Bistro and Brewery, Nine Fingers Brew (winners of the venue’s recent Brewers Unearthed competition), and a special coffee/beer hybrid from Welcome Dose Speciality Coffee featuring a Frenchies beer for those taking it easy.

For wine connoisseurs, there will be tipples from The Urban Winery, as well as seven award winning NSW wine producers within bars by The Drink Hive and Bucket Boys. Spirits will be available from Archie Rose Distilling Co., Brix Distillers, Manly Spirits, 4 Pillars Gin, Poor Toms Gin, and Sydney Brewery will be serving their famous Sydney Cider.

Two yoga sessions will be available overlooking the festival with Cannery newbie, Selph Health Studios, at $40pp which includes a beer or gin tasting afterwards, plus a light snack by Frenchies Bistro.

Foodies can chow down on the gourmet delights The Cannery has become famous for, including Banh Xeo Bar (winner of TimeOut Sydney’s 2018 Best Cheap Eat Award), Stanton & Co., Frenchies Bistro and Brewery, Wholefoods House, Welcome Dose Speciality Coffee, and pop-up burgers from Kingsmore Meats.

For those under 18, there is a licenced zone for families including face-painting, colouring books and complimentary bags of popcorn, courtesy of Wholefoods House.

Vincent de Soyres, brewer and co-founder of Frenchies Bistro and Brewery, said the Jamboree is a unique affair that will help close off an incredible program at Sydney Beer Week.

“We’re proud to have teamed up with our neighbours here at The Cannery Rosebery plus NSW’s best wine and spirits producers to throw a block party at our home turf for Sydney Beer Week. With live entertainment and food supplied by us and other heavy-hitting NSW foodie mates, the party is here!”

Frenchies Jamboree is free to attend, and has been made possible with the support of community partners Kegstar and The Crafty Pint.

Guests are advised to walk or use local transport.
