Witnesses urged to come forward after shot fired into a Carlingford home

Police are appealing for witnesses after home was damaged by a projectile in Sydney’s north-west.

An occupant inside a home on Lesley Avenue, Carlingford, told police she located a shattered window and what is believed to be a bullet casing on the ground, about 6pm on Thursday 22 March 2018.

Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command were contacted and upon arrival established a crime scene and commenced a search of the area.

The residents believe the incident may have happened between 6pm Wednesday 21 March and 6pm in Thursday 22 March 2018.

Inquiries into the incident have commenced.
