Two people have been arrested after a search warrant in Sydney’s west.
About 8.35am (Wednesday 21 March 2018), police attached to Parramatta Police Area Command executed a search warrant at a home on Wentworth Avenue, Pendle Hill, after an investigation into property theft.
A 39-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested at the scene and taken to Parramatta Police Station.
During a search on the premises, police located and seized numerous power tools, a stolen trailer and stump grinder, an imitation handgun, and other suspected stolen property.
The man was charged with dispose property theft, larceny, drive whilst suspended, deal with proceeds of crime, and possess unauthorised firearm.
He was refused bail to appear at Parramatta Local Court today (Thursday 22 March 2018).
The woman was released pending further inquiries.
