Three charged after high-end vehicles stolen

A man and two teenagers have been charged and a classic sports car remains missing, after three vehicles were stolen from a home in West Pennant Hills.

About 3.40am today (Tuesday 13 March 2018), police from The Hills Police Area Command were contacted by a 42-year-old man, who had disturbed intruders at a home in Doris Hurst Place.

The group allegedly left the scene in the man’s 1971 Chevrolet coupe, a Jaguar sports sedan, an unregistered Yamaha WR250 motorcycle and a Range Rover.

Police arrested two teenage boys, aged 16 and 17, and an 18-year-old man, before they were taken to Ryde Police Station.

All three have been charged with aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence in company and two counts of be carried in conveyance taken without consent.

The two teenagers were refused bail and are due to appear at a children’s court today (Tuesday 13 March 2018).

The 18-year-old man was refused bail and is due to appear at Burwood Local Court today (Tuesday 13 March 2018).

Two of the vehicles have been recovered, with a black 2015-model Jaguar XF sedan (NSW registration CXS 56J) and the blue and white Yamaha WR250 motorcycle are yet to be found.
