Chev coupe found, Jaguar still missing

A classic sports vehicle has been found as police continue to search for a luxury Jaguar XF sedan, stolen from a home in West Pennant Hills.

It was about 3.40am (Tuesday 13 March 2018), that police from The Hills Police Area Command were contacted by a 42-year-old man, who had disturbed intruders at a home in Doris Hurst Place.

The group allegedly left the scene in the man’s 1971 Chevrolet coupe, a Jaguar sports sedan, and a Range Rover.

About 15 minutes later, the Range Rover hit a barrier near the M2 on-ramp on Pennant Hills Road at Carlingford.

Three men travelling in the Range Rover were arrested and have been taken to Ryde Police Station.

The 1971-model red Chevrolet Chevelle SS coupe was found in David road, Castle Hill. It has been preserved for forensic examination.

The black 2015-model Jaguar XF sedan (NSW registration CXS 56J) has not been recovered.
