CCTV image released following assault at Bankstown

Police have released CCTV stills following an assault at Bankstown in January 2018.

About 2:30pm on Saturday 13 January 2018, a man assaulted two men, aged 55 and 44, outside a shop on South Terrace.

About 4.30pm, the man returned to the shop and verbally abused a 61-year-old man.

Officers from the Police Transport Command commenced inquiries and have now released a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

The man shown is described as being Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, and with a black beard. He is depicted wearing a black and white T-shirt, black pants with a white stripe, a black cap, and white shoes.

Police are urging anyone with information, or anyone who knows the identity of the man, to come forward.
