Police are appealing for assistance after a woman was assaulted at Parramatta.
About 2am today (Saturday 24 February 2018), a member of the public contacted emergency services after a woman sought his help on Pennant Street, Parramatta.
The woman was taken to Westmead Hospital with injuries to her head.
She told police she had been physically and sexually assaulted.
Officers from Cumberland Police Area Command are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
