Police investigate following armed robbery

Police are investigating following an armed robbery in North Strathfield.

About 7pm yesterday (Saturday 10 February 2018), a man armed with a machete entered a store on George Street, North Strathfield.

The man demanded money from staff before fleeing the scene in a red Toyota Prius.

Officers from Burwood Local Area Command established a crime scene and would like to speak with a man they believe can assist with inquiries.

The man was wearing a white-hooded jumper, blue sneakers and was carrying a grey bag.
