Appeal for information after man exposes himself – Lilyfield

Police are appealing for information after a man allegedly exposed himself to a woman and approached another in Lilyfield.

Shortly after 9.30pm on Wednesday 31 January 2018, a 27-year-old woman returned to her car on Glover Street, after completing the Bay Run, when an unknown man emerged from the bushes attempting to engage in an explicit conversation with her, after allegedly exposing himself.

About 9.30am today (Friday 2 February 2018) a 27-year-old woman was running along the Bay Run, between the reception venue and the rowing club, Leichhardt, when she was approached by an unknown man riding a yellow coloured bicycle.

Fearing for her safety, the woman approached a passer-by for assistance.

The man dumped the bicycle and left the area.

Officers from Leichhardt Local Area Command were notified and commenced investigations.

Police would like to speak to a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, aged between 20 to 30, with his front teeth missing, of slim build, has very short/shaved dark hair, with tattoos on his forearms.

He was last seen wearing a ripped grey t-shirt and jeans.
