Woman injured, single-vehicle crash – Carlton

A woman has been injured following a serious single-vehicle crash at Carlton.

Just before 10pm (Wednesday 24 January 2018), emergency services were called to Carlton Parade after reports of a crash.

Police have been told a Toyota Aurion lost control, left the roadway before hitting a tree.

The driver, aged in her 20s, was uninjured. Her passenger, a 38-year-old woman was taken to St George Hospital with a suspected fractured leg.

Officers from St George Local Area Command, with the assistance of the Crash Investigation Unit attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
