Pedestrian dies of injuries following crash

A man has died in hospital after being struck by a car in north-west Sydney.

About 9.30pm on Friday (19 January 2018), a 43-year-old man was walking along the road when he was struck from behind by a Toyota Corolla at Arnold Avenue, Kellyville.

He was taken to Westmead Hospital where he died of his injuries yesterday (Monday 22 January 2018).

The male driver, aged in his 30s, was uninjured. He was taken to hospital for mandatory testing.

Officers from The Hills Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

Officers from the Crash Investigations Unit also attended and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.

Investigations into the incident are continuing and officers would like to speak to any person who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to police.
