Pharmacy robbed – Carss Park

Police are investigating the armed robbery of a pharmacy in Sydney’s south.

About 6pm yesterday (Wednesday 10 January 2018) an unknown man entered a pharmacy on Carwar Avenue, Carss Park, and produced a meat clever.

The man threatened the 46-year-old female worker with the weapon, demanding some prescription drugs.

He was handed some drugs and also stole the worker’s purse before he fled the scene. The woman was uninjured.

Police from St George Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene.

The offender has been described as Caucasian appearance, aged in his late 30s, dressed in a white beanie, a grey long sleeve hooded jumper, black/dark shorts and sneakers with fluorescent yellow laces.

Inquiries continue.
