Police investigate armed robbery – Toongabbie

Police are investigating following an armed robbery in Sydney’s west.

Just before 10pm (Wednesday 3 January 2018), three men armed with a firearm and a sword entered a service station on The Crescent at Toongabbie, and threatened the 23-year-old employee.

The men stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing.

Officers from Blacktown Local Area Command’s attended and established a crime scene.

As inquiries continue, police wish to speak to three men who they believe can assist them with their inquiries.

The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 18-24 years old, about 175cm tall, and of a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper and carrying an older style sawn-off shotgun.

The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 18-24 years old, about 175cm tall, and of a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jumper and holding a sword.

The third man was described as being of Caucasian appearance.

The employee was not physical injured during the robbery.
