Police renew appeal for information to locate missing boy

Police searching for a boy missing from Shalvey have released updated information about a car he may be travelling in with his biological mother.

Jacob Lavender,11, was last seen about 7.30pm on Saturday (30 December 2017), in the backyard of a home in Shalvey.

When he was unable to be located his disappearance was reported to police at Mount Druitt Local Area Command.

Following inquiries, police believe Jacob may be travelling with his biological mother, 48-year-old Tracy Lavender, in a white 2004 model Toyota Camry bearing Queensland registration plates 247XPB.

It’s believed they may travelling to Queensland.

Police hold concerns for Jacob’s welfare as he has autism.

Jacob is described as being of Caucasian appearance, approximately 120cm tall, with a thin build and brown hair.

When he was last seen, Jacob was wearing grey and black coloured boxer shorts with no shirt or shoes.

Anyone with information about his location or the location of the vehicle, is urged to contact Triple Zero (000).
