Armed robbery – Strathfield

Investigations are underway following an armed robbery at a fast food outlet in Strathfield.

Police have been told, a man armed with a firearm, has entered the fast food outlet on The Boulevarde, Strathfield just after 12.25am today (Thursday 14 December 2017).

The armed man threatened staff members before fleeing with a sum of cash.

No employees were injured during the robbery.

Police were alerted and officers from Flemington Local Area Command attended and established a crime scene, which was forensically examined.

An investigation into the incident is underway and police are appealing for public assistance to identify and locate those involved.

Inquiries continue.
