Bondi Beach launches eco-friendly “Active Swimwear”

BAYTHE SWIM is here to set a new benchmark in swimwear. Designed by Bondi local, Tina Ishak, BAYTHE offers minimalist and easily wearable designs using a premium, recycled fabric produced in Italy.

Flattering classic lines with hidden seams, deep v-necks and high cut legs, the focus of the design was to compliment every figure. The technology behind the ECONYL fabric is that it uses 100% regenerated material, sourced from recycled matter such as recovered fishing nets, to reduce the impact of waste. The result is a four-way stretch that is super comfortable, gives the swimwear a multi-purpose use and is eco-friendly.

Not just for swimming. BAYTHE is suitable for low impact exercise such as yoga, Pilates and walking. Each set includes a water-resistant, reusable and bio-degradable pouch, perfect to carry all the summer essentials – swimsuit, tinted moisturiser, lip gloss, mobile phone and sunscreen.

The creator of BAYTHE, Tina Ishak has over 10 years in the publishing industry and has worked as a product manager on brands such as VOGUE, GQ and Buro 24/7. “I wanted to create affordable active swimwear with beautiful clean lines that really flatter a women’s body”, says Tina Ishak, “At every step of this journey I looked at ways to reduce Baythe’s carbon footprint and give everyone the opportunity to choose an environmentally friendly product without compromising on quality”.

BAYTHE’s online store is open for pre-orders from the 21 November 2017 for delivery before Christmas. The launch collection, “Bondi Baythers”, is available in four easy-to-wear styles in Black, Olive, Navy, Mango, Citrus Orange and Pitaya.
