Woman arrested, after stabbing – Blakehurst

A man has been hospitalised and a woman arrested after an alleged domestic-related stabbing at Blakehurst.

Shortly before 8.30am (Tuesday 14 November 2017) police responded to reports a man had been stabbed whilst in a unit on the Princes Highway.

Officers from St George Local Area Command attended and found a 62-year-old man with a stab wound to his stomach.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to St George Hospital in a serious condition with non-life threatening injuries.

A 35-year-old woman was arrested outside the unit block and taken to Kogarah Police Station, where she is currently assisting police with inquiries.
