Cyclist dies after crash – Double Bay

A cyclist has died after his bike and a car collided at Double Bay.

Emergency services were called to New South Head Road, Double Bay, shortly after 6.30pm (Monday 13 November 2017), and found a man had died at the scene.

Police from Rose Bay Local Area Command established a crime scene while officers from Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit attended the scene and commenced inquiries.

The male driver of the car, a 49-year-old man from Point Piper, was taken to hospital for mandatory testing and inquires are ongoing.
