House fire – St Clair

Police are investigating a house fire in Sydney’s west.

About 6pm (Friday 10 November 2017), emergency services were called to a home on Farmer Place, St Clair following reports of a fire.

Fire fighters extinguished the blaze; however, the home sustained significant damage.

The occupants, a 37-year-old woman, along with her five children, aged four months old, one, two, four and five, escaped the home uninjured.

Officers from St Marys Local Area Command attended and commenced investigations.

The cause of the fire is believed to have started in the front bedroom. Initial inquiries suggest it is not suspicious.
