Police have commenced an investigation after a single vehicle crash in Sydney’s inner west.
Emergency services were called to Dudley Street, Haberfield, just before 1.30pm today (Monday 23 October 2017), following reports of a car had veered off the road and struck a tree.
The driver, a 17-year-old boy, was trapped in the vehicle, before being released by Fire & Rescue NSW.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with head injuries and multiple fractures.
Officers attached to Ashfield Local Area Command established a crime scene and have commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
