The Deck, one of Sydney’s most unique and sought-after dining destinations, has picked up a two-glass rating in the prestigious 2017 Australian Wine List of the Year review.
The two-glass rating recently announced, places The Deck Sydney amongst some of the highest calibre restaurants around the nation.
The Deck, situated right beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge and next to Luna Park Sydney in Milsons Point, offers unparalleled panoramic views over Sydney Harbour – complementing their quality wine list. The Deck’s food menu centers around modern Australian with a Mediterranean twist and matching wines. The Deck has over 146 wines to choose from accompanied by tasting notes on every wine on the list.
The Wine list review noted the cleverness of the wine list stating, “The tasting notes have their own section within the wine list allowing diners to read through the main section unimpeded”.
The review noted this to be a “clever touch and an uncommon one” amongst top Australian restaurant venues. The wine review referred to the affordability of the wine on offer and location as a major draw card, “well priced wine and unbelievably well situated”.
The Deck offers 31 wines by the glass, allowing diners to sample a variety of wines from the vast menu.
The Deck Sydney welcomes this accolade and has uniquely positioned themselves in the Sydney restaurant and entertainment scene, offering a vast array of distinct offerings, including their sell out Ferris Wheel High Tea experience and up and coming Ferris Wheel Dining in October 2017 – all in an iconic breath taking location.
